Film to Pixels

I have shelves full of decaying photo albums containing pictures I took long ago with film cameras. The films were sent away for processing. The prints came back without any artistic intervention (cropping, tint correction, and other tweaks) and I dutifully inserted all of them into heavy, bound photo albums. These albums were soon presented to friends or family sitting beside me at the dining table or the living room sofa. They were seldom opened again.

But now by selecting the pictures most worth looking at, scanning them into digital form, applying modern post-production enhancements, and tagging them with captions or stories, I can show them in more convenient, comfortable and meaningful form.

I hope you enjoy perusing them. You may send feedback to me at = bill@billduncan.us.
